Approved Nearby is a project of Charles White, based in Sydney. Last updated 3 November 2026.

What we collect

If you reserve a spot, we collect your name, agency, email and, if you give them, the suburbs you farm. We use them only to contact you about Approved Nearby and to set up your issues.

Where it is kept

Your details are kept in our business email (Google Workspace) and a private list. We do not sell, rent or share them. Google Workspace and our web host, Vercel, handle them on our behalf and may store them outside Australia.

Access, correction and deletion

Email hello@approvednearby.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We will do so within five working days.

About the data in our issues

Property information comes from the NSW Planning Portal's public data on development applications, complying development certificates and construction certificates, published by the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure under a Creative Commons Attribution licence. It contains addresses, approval details and builders' company names only, not owners' names.
